Tuition for institutions of higher education is governed by statute and the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) in the State of Washington. The residency statutes for higher education require a student to have established a domicile in the state of Washington for a period of at least one year immediately prior to the commencement of the quarter for which the student has registered.
